The first is called Passage. It's a 5 minute diddy, but its worth your download and time.
I would explain my thoughts about it, but I don't want to ruin it for you. Also, the maker of the game (who actually sounds like a pretty cool guy) says it all in his Creator's Statement.
If you don't plan on playing it now, don't read his explanation. It will only ruin the experience.
If you are going to play it now, just remember to read the controls. They're on the download page.
The other game is called Coil. You can play it online instead of having to download it.
Compared to Passage, the other game's meaning is almost instantaneous; at least from my perspective.
The story sounds like it could have been picked straight from the fruit of The Killing Tree, so you know it's pretty sweet. Also, the intuitive controls are pretty nifty.
I'm going to close this post being really metaphorical. Remember that in Passage you can move in all directions. I know I said I wouldn't spoil it for you, so just consider this one of the many rules of life. Listen to advice.
I SWEAR THAT THAT WILL MAKE SENSE ONCE YOU PLAY IT
UPDATE:[Spoiler Alert] Okay, after playing through Coil again, I finally got a real meaning. I already knew it was about a fetus. But also, I was reading the story thinking it was about a failing relationship. I hadn't put these two things together before.
I think the creators were using a dying love to represent a growing fetus. That is wickedly perverse. I am definitely going to have to run through this game a couple more times, because that's pretty deep stuff.
UPDATE #2: +10 on messed up levels. I'm pretty sure that the baby ends up being a miscarriage. The two people also love each other again...
I still don't get the two things shooting each other though.
